8 days • Pick up from Nairobi Airport and transfer to hotel, optional sightseeing Nairobi depending on arrival time (Panafric Hotel*)
• Drive north to the dramatic semi-arid scrubland of the Northern Frontier, in the afternoon game drive to sight resident wildlife species like the blue-necked Somali Ostrich rarely seen elswhere in the country (Samburu Lodge or Sarova Shaba Lodge)
• Full day spend in Samburu as further exploration of this fascinating reserve awaits you. Early morning or afternoon game drives give a chance to travel over some of the world's most spectacular and exciting terrain (Samburu Lodge or Sarova Shaba Lodge)
• Depart for the Mt. Kenya region to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon spend game viewing from the hotel lounge (Serena Mountain Lodge)
• Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park that contains a great variety of wildlife as well as innumerable birds. Lake Nakuru Park was created originally as an ornithological attraction due to the millions of flamingos which make the lake their home during certain seasons (Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar)
• Drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve and embark on a game drive to get a closer look at the largest concentration of animals in Kenya (Mara Sopa Lodge or similar)
• Spend a full day with morning and afternoon game drives in search of more animals like buffalo, black rhino, leopard, cheetah, zebra, elephant, warthog,gnu etc (Mara Sopa Lodge or similar)
• Return to Nairobi for return or connection flight
